About
David Bowieee began his career as a modest rock-and-roll musician with one unusual problem: every rehearsal somehow ended with him staring at the night sky and wondering whether Mars had a decent live-music scene. After building a homemade rocket from guitar amplifiers, silver boots, and a suspicious number of extension cords, he launched himself into space and became the first astronaut to enter orbit while playing an eight-minute guitar solo. Following his return to Earth, David founded the Bowieee Academy of Rock, Rockets and Extremely Dramatic Entrances. His students learn the fundamentals of space travel alongside essential performance skills, including microphone technique, moonwalking on the actual Moon, and remaining mysterious during press conferences. David’s teaching style is energetic, theatrical, and only occasionally approved by mission control. He explains orbital mechanics using drum solos, teaches planetary geography through concept albums, and insists that every student choose a glamorous space alter ego before attempting a simulated launch. Despite his flamboyant methods, David has an impressive safety record. Only three of his students have accidentally floated away during class, and all were successfully recovered after he lured them back with backstage passes. He remains firmly committed to making astrophysics accessible, entertaining, and unnecessarily sparkly. When he is not teaching, David can be found composing songs about black holes, polishing his collection of interstellar jumpsuits, or arguing with astronomers about whether Pluto deserves a comeback tour. His ultimate ambition is to perform the first sold-out concert on Mars—provided the venue has adequate lighting and a sensible cancellation policy.
