About

Freddy Mercurial is a dance and vocal coach with the energy of a stadium headliner, the precision of a metronome, and the wardrobe confidence of a man who considers sequins a neutral colour. He helps performers find their voice, command the stage, and enter every room as though twenty thousand people have already paid to see them. In the dance studio, Freddy specialises in transforming hesitant shuffling into full-bodied, spotlight-ready movement. His sessions combine technique, musicality, theatrical flair, and the occasional dramatic lunge that serves no practical purpose but looks absolutely magnificent. Whether you have two left feet or seventeen years of training, Freddy will find something to improve—and somewhere to add a hip swivel. As a vocal coach, Freddy works across breath control, pitch, range, resonance, diction, and performance confidence. He believes every singer has a powerful voice inside them; sometimes it simply needs encouragement, proper support, and permission to be much louder than the neighbours would prefer. His warm-ups are legendary, his high-note pep talks are intense, and his piano has heard things it can never repeat. Freddy’s teaching style is supportive, demanding, and gloriously theatrical. He gives honest feedback without crushing anyone’s spirit, celebrates small improvements as though they have just won an international music award, and has been known to shout, “Again—but this time with emotional consequences!” His students leave with stronger technique, greater confidence, and an unexplained desire to own a white tank top. When he is not coaching, Freddy can usually be found practising microphone-stand choreography, testing the acoustics of stairwells, or reminding people that “Mercurial” is both his surname and a legally accurate description of his personality. His mission is simple: help every performer sing boldly, move fearlessly, and never waste a perfectly good opportunity for a dramatic finish.
